There is a giant park since 1859
and it is open daily from 5 am to 12 am. Arguably, this park is the only
botanic garden in the world which is open from early morning until midnight.

other activities, such as exercise, picnic with friends and family, or just
looking for some fresh air and tranquility amongst shady trees. To achieve the
Singapore Botanic Gardens, you can easily reach it by public transport. You can
choose a taxi, public bus passes Holland Road or Bukit Timah Road, and MRT.
In the Singapore Botanical Gardens also has an Orchid Garden. National
Orchid Garden has an area of about 3 hectares with a collection of beautiful
plants, maintained, and soothing eye. Approximately 700 species of orchids from
around the world and more than 2,000 species of orchid hybrids or the results
of a cross, is present here. And also there are about 250 species of palm that
grows in the garden section called Palm Valley. For admission to the National
Orchid Garden, it will be charged about $5. But for students and people with
aged over 60 years just pay $1 and free
for children under 12 years. It is open from 8:30 am until 19:00 at night. In
front of the National Orchid Garden you will find shops that sell souvenirs with
items interesting and amusing.
